How's My Driving?

Please feel free to leave any helpful criticism as to how I play Amy here. Keep in mind that I'm new to the Doctor Who fandom and from the States, therefore I won't know or use many slang words that Amy would use. If there is anything you don't like about how I play any, just let me know. I'm able to take helpful criticism well and it will help me shape her into a better character since I plan on keeping her around for a while. IP logging has been disabled and anonymous comments have been enabled, but I would prefer knowing who I'm talking to. Comments are also screened for your privacy. It will help me keep in contact with you so I can shape any better.

She couldn't believe this was happening again. It was different this time, but a lot of it was still the same. Rory was dying and there was nothing she could do about it. The Doctor was supposed to be here, but he was running late or something. Amy didn't know and frankly she didn't care because he was allowing Rory to die again. She didn't think that she'd be able to forgive the Doctor again. It wasn't like she was going to forget this time and if the Doctor had showed up like he was supposed to, they wouldn't be in this situation.

Rory. Stupid Rory. He always had to save the day. Be there at the right moment and jump into action. He was always like that. From the first moment they met. He continually blew her mind and it always lead to him getting hurt. Amy tried to warn him, but Rory wouldn't listen. He was just as stubborn as she was and that lead to his death. Because he wanted to save her from dying. The bullet was meant for her because she pissed someone off, but he did the selfless thing and sacrificed himself for her. Amy wanted to yell at him. Tell him how much of a numpty he was because of his actions, but no words came out. Just her tears.

Amy leaned over Rory and clutched his hand tightly. She was afraid to move him in fear he might lose more blood. "Just hang in there," she said between sobs and pressed her head against his chest. When was this all going to end. This wasn't the first time she lost Rory. Before this moment she lost the Doctor several times along with Rory and she was getting tired of it. There was only so much one person could take. She might be mad impossible Amy Pond, but she reached the end of her rope and couldn't take anymore.

"Someone, help." She said softly. Amy knew no one was coming, but she couldn't give up. Not now. Not on Rory.

There was a part of Amy that couldn't believe that she was stranded again, but there was the bigger part of her that could believe it. The TARDIS had been acting a bit wonky on their way to Majesdane -- rather the only thing that remained of it and that was an outpost. The Doctor had got Amy psyched up about visiting the world, but found out that it was destroyed and Amy was devastated. To make up for it, he took her to the outpost and they were enjoying their time there. That was until he got some distress signal and went off to save the day. He said he would only be gone a day or two, but that turned into a week for Amy. Not that she was complaining, she was enjoying her time her with the help of Karolina, but it still felt odd being on some alien world without the Doctor around.

Amy was sure her life could have been lonelier than it was; she had Rory (which was enough to keep her from going crazy) and she had those random postcards that made everything better. She knew that he was going to be away for a while and she picked out her star. Of course, she changed her mind several times since then, but it always came back to the same star until it disappeared one day. It was odd that a star would disappear like that, but she suspected it was the way the universe worked.

For the past couple years, her life had been very lonely without those postcards. She started to wonder if the Doctor forgot about her. Rory hated to see her wait for them, but there was little he could do to pull the ginger's mind away from them. Every night she would thumb through the postcards, absorbing everything they held in them and fell asleep with them in her hands. They were currently clutched to her chest and she was fast asleep. Always waiting, that's what Amy Pond did best.
